About me
I am an artist, freelance designer, and experienced meditation practitioner and facilitator drawing upon my deep connection with spirit and nature as a source for all my creative artistic endeavours. As well as facilitating Alamandria Meditation and Mindfulness Retreats since 2014 I have facilitated creative mindfulness programmes for organisations and prison inmates.
I became a Youthline counsellor at the young age of 18 years old, a youth mentor in my 20's and began volunteering at the Mary Potter Hospice when I was 24 years old. Twenty years later I became a member of their ‘Wellness Action Group’ facilitating Creative Mindfulness Sessions for their staff.
I have undertaken the Art of Wellbeing programme at Taruna College, several Biographical Storytelling Programmes with the International School of Storytelling in Sussex, UK as well as an Eco-fluency Nature Communication course – all of which I highly recommend.
My daily connection with a higher power and what I experience as a tangible co-creation practice with my Spirit-team is something I see as integral to each individuals ability to live a mindful and empowered life in todays world.
As a storyteller and poet I believe in the inspiriting power of story, myth and ritual and I love to weave the humour into all that I do.
